Sylvia Tosun sings in 10 languages and is an award-winning songwriter and performer. Her voice, along with her gifts of melody and arranging, has earned a scholarship to the Juilliard School and has attracted some of the world's most renowned musical talents including multi-platinum recording artists, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, who feature Tosun on their recordings, and most recently on their Rock Opera, "Beethoven's Last Night", where Tosun was cast as the role of "Fate". WOW Concert Series' "The Great Wall Concert", featured Tosun where she sang in Mandarin Chinese atop the Great Wall in Beijing, China along side other notable artists, Alicia Keys and Cyndi Lauper. Sylvia comes from a long line of artists - a maternal grandfather who was a composer and concert pianist - a grandmother who was a sculptor and painter who taught the mandolin, and a paternal grandfather who created music as part of his work as a healer.
She attributes most of her success to her ongoing collaborations and the bringing together of strong and positive elements to create masterful productions. Her artistry; truly distinctive and sophisticated, is delivered with vitality and energy. Sylvia's powerful and passionate voice combined with world rock rhythms, pop melodies, poetic metaphors and mystical undertones, creates a fresh new sound. Tosun delivers rich and multi-dimensional songs she cowrites with spiritual poet, Julie Flanders and composer, Emil Adler (October Project). Produced with Miklos Malek (Celine Dion, Anastacia) and Mixed by three time Grammy Award winner, Tom Lord-Alge (U2, Annie Lennox, Coldplay),JUMP IN is in a global and inspiring genre all its own that leaves a message of personal empowerment on the listener.

The ANTHEM Project and Volume One:
During Sylvia Tosun's extensive volunteer work for the United Service Organization, she visited and entertained at Military Installations and Veteran's Hospitals. She was frequently called upon to sing for International Dignitaries and Foreign Ambassadors who would visit during USO Special Events and Fleet Week. This experience developed a deep sense of "Global Patriotism" which led to The Anthem Project. Tosun intends to record all of the world's national anthems in their native tongues and re-invent them harmonically.

ANTHEM music and Tosun's humanitarian efforts have been associated with African Action on AIDS, Think MTV, Wimbledom, The French Open, NAAC, World Hunger Year, I Unity Fund, Toys for Tots, Grand Europe Ball, Greenwich and NY AIDS Film Festivals and the USO.
